Yes, everyone on the planet believes that his/her particular brand of religion is the correct one. You are incorrect about the fact that logic is not required. You see, there are different logical systems, so to speak. One who believes the Koran, is completely convinced based on his logical system, while in your logical system, he seems to be totally irrational. So evidently, you have a very basic misunderstanding of what logic really is. You see, my God is not the god of the Koran, or any other religion. You might say, "But there is only one god." Wrong, take a good look around you, there are many. I believe my God is the Creator God, and is The God of all, including these other gods. You ask, "Why wouldn't heaven intervene". My God will allow those who choose not to believe, to believe a lie. So evidently, your god (if you have one) is not my God. My logic (given to me by my God) tells me that there is not great wisdom that has been compiled throughout the ages, only the wisdom given by Him in His Word. I do agree with your logical system, in the sense that there is a lot of junk out there. The truth is not hidden in the book. It has been translated into every language. My God did a perfect job of not hiding it. My God promised in His book that He would preserve it, not a book, chapter, or sentence, but the whole thing. I am sure that comment does not fit into your logical system, so don't comment on that one.
I have to go eat some turkey now. Happy Thanksgiving, no matter to whom you give thanks.
