I was not upset by what you said. You found a flaw in my logic. I was being sloppy in my writing and thinking. I was trying to clarify why I thought that my father was a different sort of authority figure. Certainly, there are authority figures that I do trust. It was sloppy of me to make such a broad sweeping statement about not trusting authority figures. As I get older, however, I find that the group I trust gets smaller and smaller, exponentially.
