Help Wanted

ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Compensation is at a rate of $200 per week plus $100 per completed and submitted crisis assessment, and mileage. If interested call Camino Real Community Services, 210-357-0359.
The City of Falls City is taking applications for the City Clerk position. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, have experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Word and Excel. This is a part time job of thirty hours a week. Salary is negotiable. Applications are available at City Hall located at 208 N. Irvin, Falls City, Texas. KS - That is exactly the point...where was the news coverage? Mainstream media want Americans to believe this Tea Party thing was nothing but fanatics griping about losing an election. It was far from that! It was the most awesome show of support to the AMERICAN CONSTITUTION which sadly is losing its place in our government. It was a showing of support from Americans who want better from officials in office. An effort to encourage voters to vote in people who will listen to the voters and who will not create a tax for everything in life, which is what is happening. It was an effort to get Americans to wake up that our rights are becoming fewer and fewer. The more governmental control, taxes, etc., the less freedom we have. Don't you like freedom? The freedom to win or fail? That freedom which God gave humanity?
