"'The Tea Party was the culmination of a resistance movement throughout British America against the Tea Act, which had been passed by the British Parliament in 1773. Colonists objected to the Tea Act for a variety of reasons, especially because they believed that it violated their constitutional right to be taxed only by their own elected representatives.' This is the exact sentiment of many Americans today."

The American people are being taxed by their
own elected representatives. These people may not have voted for those in office, but they were still given the opportunity to vote for their candidate in a free and open democratic system.

That's the difference. Hearing people scream "taxation without representation" is just lame. It's a mockery of the United States original fight for existence. Don't get me wrong, so many people from the other side of the isle acted the same way when Bush was in office.

Welcome to being in the minority in America.
