I don't think anyone here is negating the need for basic services, a functional school system, roads or the like. The issue at hand is frivolity and accountability.

There is a line between the two, one of which has been blurred beyond recognition. We are fortunate to have responsible representatives at all levels of our government. Unfortunately, we are faced with the exact opposite end of the spectrum as well.

You are spewing anger and hatred and trying to incite a "take it all or leave it" atmosphere. That is not the case here. The TEA parties were not an "anti-goverment" rally. More, they were an opportnity for those with enough common sense to realize that there is a seriously inadequate return on our investment lately.
