Small Town Mom
Floresville

It tells me that we live in a small town, and there are a number of people who are related to each other. It tells me that there is a family or two (or three) who are interested in community service, because their kids also live in this town. It tells me, that the status quo can be shaken up, and that we are fortunate to live in a democracy where people can run for office if they so choose. It tells me that, if the only argument you have to offer is kinship, you've got a weak leg to stand on.

I tell you what would be wonderful- it would be wonderful if you just went to the courthouse and voted, instead of being so darn negative. The politics gene runs in families- look at the Castro brothers in San Antonio, the BUshes in TX and Florida, the Kenndeys et al.
