Small Town Mom,
Why do you assume that people who voice a different opinion than yourself, do not vote? I for one vote everytime. I do not believe there are negative or positive opinions, only what is or isn't true. And I strongly believe that too many of the same like minded individuals in control of anything is asking for corruption to take place. I, also believe that anyone who does not have the qualifications for a particular job should not apply for that job. They should seek the training first then after they are trained then apply.
The Bush's were not in the same location at the same time, as you have stated one was in Washinton, another in Texas, and another in Florida. The Kennedy's were a highly corrupt family and it is possible that one of the reasons JFK was killed, was because he appointed his brother, Robert, to be the US AG. I don't know about the Castro brothers, but I do know it is harder to exerise infulence in a larger city. I now live in Floresville, but I have live in other small town all across this country and the story is the same 95% of the time when one particular family is running the show, stagnation and/or corruption. Nepotism very raarely works.
