While Lynette ended up becoming a part of the Wilson County News team by chance, her motivation and attitude make her an important part of the WCN organization. She was looking for part time work and happened to stop by at Heritage House to see if they were hiring. Unfortunately they werent, however an employee directed her right across the street to Wilson County News.
Lynette was hired part time to assist with the front office tasks in November of 2002. And since then, Lynette has contributed her skills to various areas within the business. Graphic Designer Lynette Lopez is a resident of Floresville. She is the mother of two and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her children. Lynette is also an avid reader but especially loves music and attending concerts. At the newspaper Lynette works on ad and page layout as well as photo editing. She also keeps wilsoncountynews.com updated. Lynette appreciates the freedom to be creative with her work, and says, "I couldn't ask for better co-workers and work environment."
Lynette continues to grow as an individual and as an employee of Wilson County News, and in that essence, foresees a lasting bond as a WCN family member.
