Bertha R. Trinidad went into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in her home in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 84 years old. Bertha was born to loving parents Thomas and Susan Trinidad on Feb. 12, 1939, in Saspamco.
Bertha was a proud lifelong resident of Floresville, where she spent her life contributing to the youth of the community as a beloved bus driver for the school district.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Susan Trinidad; and her siblings, Ruben Trinidad, Arturo Trinidad, Henry Trinidad, Manuel Trinidad, Benito Perez, Janie Trinidad, Susie Trinidad, and Peggy Ann Perez.
Bertha is survived by her husband, Juan Perez; and her children, Juan A. Trevino and wife Gloria, Robert Trevino Sr and wife Diana, John Perez, Ruben Perez, and David Perez and Christine. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Melanie, John, Jason, Robert Jr., Chelsea, and Haley; and her great-grandchildren, James, Caleb, Benicio, Amelia, Chloe, Robert III, Aubree, Abcidy, Brianna, and Adrian. Bertha is also survived by her siblings, Rachel Ramirez, Rosa Castro, Olga Salinas, Viola Trevino, Thomas Trinidad Jr. and wife Margie, and Santiago Trinidad and wife Angelita.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 24, at 9 a.m., with a rosary recited at 10:30 a.m., in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in the church.
Internment followed immediately in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Floresville.
The Trinidad family thanks the community for its outpouring of love and support.
