Citizens can weigh in on St. Hedwig rezoning July 7

St. Hedwig citizens can share their thoughts Thursday, July 7, on a proposed zoning change to allow a subdivision to be built on 87-plus acres on St. Hedwig Road.

The St. Hedwig City Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday on a request by RD Land developers to rezone the land at 15490 St. Hedwig Road from A-1R (agricultural/residential, 5-acre minimum) to R-2 (single family residential, 2.5- acre minimum). The meeting will take place in the Tradition Elementary School cafeteria, at 12885 F.M. 1346.

Citizens’ comments and public input will be heard before the city council considers action on the application.
