Residents of the Eagle Creek area north of Floresville must boil water before drinking or cooking with it.
Aqua Texas notified its customers of the “boil alert” Monday afternoon, Aug. 7, following up phone and email notices Aug. 6 urging customers to conserve water, due to “power problems.”
Residents previously reported little or no water coming out of their faucets.
Aqua Texas, a private water utility company, provides water to approximately 500 residents in the area.
