Floresville High School varsity girls cross country made a successful showing during the Patriots Cross Country (FEAST) Invitational Sept. 2 in San Antonio.

Floresville varsity girls placed fifth as a team out of 32 that competed. Contributing to the team’s outstanding placing in this meet, the following Floresville runners made high marks individually (out of 271 varsity girl athletes):

•Senior Alyssa Quinones, 11th

•Sophomore Nora Felan, 34th

•Junior Adonai Solis, 42nd

•Senior Kellie Waters, 79th

•Junior Isabella Garza, 87th

•Sophomore Addisyn Kirkley, 106th

•Courtney Mueck-Anaya, 122nd
