Lee Roy Priest Wagenfuehr

Lee Roy Priest Wagenfuehr, formerly of Floresville, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Brownwood. Lee Roy was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Mills County to George Davidson and Florence Abbie Carter Priest.

Lee Roy married Alvin Ernest Wagenfuehr on Nov. 10, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Wagenfuehr; daughter-in -law Patricia Elaine Mahan Wagenfuehr; granddaughter Dustri Karen Wagenfuehr Touchet; seven sisters; and three brothers.

Lee Roy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Wagenfuehr Manning and husband Obie of Brownwood; sons Carl Wagenfuehr Sr. and wife Jennifer of Abbeville, La., and Kevin Wagenfuehr of La Mesa, Calif.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Floresville.

A funeral service was held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Floresville City Cemetery in Floresville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Floresville Building Fund or to a charity of one’s choice.
