Nixon-Smiley students rake in awards at UIL District Meet

Nixon-Smiley Middle School students traveled to Cole Middle School in San Antonio on Jan. 28, to compete in the UIL District Meet. Several students had great success collecting 74 awards, including seven gold medals, 10 silver medals, 17 bronze medals, 11 fourth place ribbons, 13 fifth place ribbons, and 16 sixth place ribbons! Congratulations to all who competed!
