The Poth High School Pirette varsity basketball team continued their journey toward district play by taking on the Randolph Ro-Hawks Dec. 7. The game was very physical and a defensive matchup, but the Pirettes came out on top, 33-28.
The Pirettes started district play with a win at home Dec. 10 against Dilley. The Pirettes played aggressively and dominated the game. Everyone on the team scored and contributed. The final score was 60-17.
