If you have an American flag that’s seen better days, retire it respectfully at Twin Creek Insurance and Crisp Realty’s third annual These Colors Don’t Bleed Replacement Flag Drive and Blood Drive.
On Wednesday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. worn flags will be retired in a ceremony hosted by the Women Warrior Veterans of Wilson County. Replacement flags, 3 feet by 5 feet, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center will be on-site accepting donations for a blood drive. To schedule a time to donate, visit bit.ly/3qoLpnI. Twin Creek Insurance is located at 13578 U.S. 87 W. in La Vernia.
