Rosalie Mikolajczyk
Rosalie Mikolajczyk, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the age of 85. Rosalie was born in St. Hedwig, Texas, on Sept. 16, 1937, to Edward and Charlotte (Foerster) Dzierzanowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is also reunited in heaven with her loving husband of 63 years, Charlie Mikolajczyk; brother Edward Dzierzanowski; and sisters-in-law Betty and Lonez Dzierzanowski.
Rosalie will be cherished and missed by her children, Charles “Mickey” Mikolajczyk Jr. (Nancy), Cheryl Box, and Charlotte Ahrens (Stevie); seven grandchildren, Chealsie Kuhaneck (Jeremy), Charlene Steever (Ryan), Tanner Scheel (Melinda), Charles Mikolajczyk III (Rebecca), DJ Scheel (Ashley), Talon Box, Brent Ahrens, and Violet Hamilton (Clayton); 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Ignatz Dzierzanowski Sr., Edward Dzierzanowski Jr. (Pat), Theodore Dzierzanowski Sr. (Mary Jo), and Anthony Dzierzanowski Sr.; sisters Regina Schick and Christine Koepp; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, from 5-8 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, with Father Bill Zadora to officiate.
Interment will follow in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.
