We would like to thank everyone who came out to see the 2021 Senior Art Show. The residents from the three participating nursing and longterm care facilities were very excited that family and friends were able to see their work.

The exhibit — which traveled among the Wilson County Public Libraries in Floresville, La Vernia, and Stockdale, featured art created by:

•La Vernia’s Country Care Manor, 20 residents

•Stockdale Residence & Rehabilitation, 20 residents

•Floresville Residence & Rehabilitation, 4 residents.

Each resident who entered the show had their name put in for a prize drawing. The three winners are Margaret Teltschik of Floresville Residence & Rehabilitation, Florence Jaskinia of Stockdale Residence & Rehabilitation, and Avis Horton of Country Care Manor; each receives a goody bag.

Bobbie West is the activities director with the Stockdale Residence & Rehabilitation Center.
