Thelma Jean Rauschuber
Thelma Jean (Ondrias) Rauschuber, 88, of St. Hedwig, Texas, passed away April 14, 2023, in San Antonio. Thelma was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Marion, Kansas, to Benedict and Ida (Layton) Ondrias.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Martin Joe Rauschuber; and a sister, Mary Narmore.
Thelma is survived by her children, Dorothy Stanush and husband Edward, Ronald Rauschuber and wife Donna, Gary Rauschuber, Diane Smith, Karen Wallace and husband David, and Denise Real and husband Craig; grandchildren Bryan Stanush, Shynelle Taggs, Shannan Sullivan, Brandon Smith, Tiffany Wallace, Eric Rauschuber, Rhiannan Mueller, Aaron Real, Jared Rauschuber, Travis Real, Ryan Rauschuber, Ashley Somers, and Michael Rauschuber; great-grandchildren Preston, Seth, and Mason Taggs, Keegan Wallace, Zachary, Jaxon, and Chloe Smith, Micah, Maddox, and Jordan Sullivan, Waylon Real, Rylie, and Hunter Rauschuber, Logan Rauschuber, Julian Somers, Baylee, Haedyn, Brock, and Paighton Mueller; and great-great-grandson Holden Taggs. She is also survived by her brothers, John Ondrias and wife Lydia, Robert Ondrias, James Ondrias and wife Peggy, and Anthony Ondrias; and her sisters, Doris Lothrop and Joan Ondrias.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, from 5-7 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., in Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in the church, with Father Bill Zadora officiating.
Interment will follow in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig.
