VFW to honor WWI Pvt. Obie Walker May 27

Join the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Wilson County Memorial Post 8555, in the historic Walker-Edwards Cemetery in Floresville Saturday, May 27, for a graveside service to honor World War I U.S. Army Pvt. Obediah “Obie” Walker (1888-1918).
The event, at 1 p.m., will be hosted by the Friends of the Walker-Edwards Cemetery, located at 934 Seventh St. in Floresville.
