Drivers traveling on Fourth Street in Floresville will have to detour around Trail and A streets Tuesday morning to avoid street patching after the repair of a leaking water main.
Fourth Street between Trail and A streets in Floresville remains closed Tuesday morning, after city crews worked through Monday night to repair a water main break.
According to Floresville’s interim city manager, Andy Joslin, crews went to work the afternoon of April 5 when the leak was discovered and stayed on the job until about 5 a.m. today.
“They had to cut pipes and put in a new valve,” he said. “This morning, they are cleaning up, filling the hole, and patching the street.”
The street is expected to reopen Tuesday afternoon.
