Wendy Ann Harris

Wendy Ann Harris, 54, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, from complications from cancer, peacefully surrounded by family and friends, and her wonderful hospice nurse. Wendy was born Aug. 12, 1969, to Terry Jasmine and Walt Wallace Jr. in Missoula, Mont. Wendy grew up in Polson, Mont.

After graduation, Wendy moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked as a nanny. She studied medical coding and worked in that field until her passing. Wendy loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, gardening, working on her home, going to the beach, playing with her grandchildren, and hanging out with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and going to watch athletic events, especially ones that involved her children. She loved going to plays, musicals, parks, and movies.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Wallace Jr.; and her husband, Wesley Harris.

Wendy is survived by her mother, Terry Jasmin; sister Susan Wallace; son Danny Adams and wife Kadyja Green; granddaughters Jade, 10 and Kayloni, 4; grandson Demarcus, 3; son Sir Max Harris; and life partner Alan Jendrusch.

Family and friends gathered for a visitation on Thursday, Aug. 17, from 6:30- 8:30 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., in the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City.
