William ‘Bill’ Henry Laskowski

William “Bill” Henry Laskowski entered eternal rest on Monday, March 28, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Sylvia Julia (Winkler) and Archie Pete Laskowski Sr. in San Antonio on Dec. 2, 1949.

Bill graduated from McCollum High School in 1968, and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. After service, he went on to work as a journeyman electrician, and was part of IBEW Local 60 for 38 years. After he retired, Bill enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and being outdoors, while residing in Floresville. He also enjoyed deer hunting, racing pigeons, ranching, listening to country music, and drinking a beer with a friend or two.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Archie Laskowski Jr. and Edwin Laskowski; and sister Dolores Laskowski.

Bill is survived by and will be missed by his sons, Dennis Laskowski and wife Jennifer and Clint Laskowski and wife Shanell; three grandchildren, Annie, Clara, and Archer Laskowski; brothers Lloyd Benjamin Laskowski and Eugene Frank Laskowski; the mother of his children, Janet M. Laskowski; and several other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in St. Jerome Catholic Church in San Antonio.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at noon in the church, with the Rev. Scott Janycek officiating.

Interment, with full military honors, will immediately follow in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
