Wilson County Republicans plan three candidate forums in January

Meet Republican candidates for office at three candidates’ forums planned in January by the Wilson County Republican Party.

Mark your calendars now to hear from folks seeking the Republican nomination in the March 2022 primary for offices from county constable to U.S. Congress.

Admission is free to the forums, which will take place at the Wilson County Expo & Community Center, 435 S.H. 97 in Floresville. Events are set for:

Wednesday, Jan. 12, 6:30 p.m. — meet candidates seeking statewide offices.

Thursday, Jan. 13, 6:30 p.m. — for candidates pursuing federal and state legislative seats, State Board of Education places, and judicial candidates. This includes candidates for U.S. Congress, District 15; Texas Senate District 21; Texas House District 31; and judicial and judge races.

Thursday, Jan. 27, 6:30 p.m. — meet candidates seeking local and Wilson County offices, such as county judge and justice of the peace, and more.

Sponsorships are invited, along with volunteers.

These events are free and open to the public.
