The San Antonio River Authority hosted its annual River Clicks photo competition, which encompassed the four counties the River Authority represents — Bexar, Wilson, Karnes, and Goliad. More than 400 photos were submitted.
The San Antonio River Authority recognized 12 award winners and 17 finalists at an event Sept. 1 at the Witte Museum in San Antonio. Of the 29 finalists, Wilson County had two winners and two semifinalists:
•Jo Anna Maldonado was a winner in the Special Category-Escondido Creek Parkway.
•Wes Copas’ entry was named the Judges’ Choice for Best Photograph from Wilson County.
•Semifinalists were Ron Hudson and Annalise Labreck.
The winning photos will be on display in the Witte Museum through Oct. 30.
