Enjoy holiday festivities, music and visit Santa in Floresville Dec. 1

wcn file photo wcn file photo The Floresville Chamber of Commerce and Visitor & Tourist Center, and the Wilson County News have teamed up to bring holiday festivities to downtown Floresville this year with activities kicking off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1. The fun will last until 9 p.m.

Don’t miss the tree lighting at dusk on the courthouse lawn. Children and families can enjoy visiting, sharing wish lists, and taking pictures with Santa! Each child will receive a special treat from Santa.

Filling the air with Christmas music will be a trio from Alamo City Brass, as well as choir groups. Drama Kids International students will present a Christmas skit. Children can participate in Christmas crafts and gingerbread decorating, and enjoy playing in the “Texas snow.”

Businesses throughout town will be open late and will offer specials as well as refreshments: Heart Like Mine, The Flower Basket, Fluff’s White House Café, Floresville Flower Shop, Floresville Residence & Rehab, Under His Wing, Mrs. Annie’s Peanut Patch, Liberty Tax Service, and Wilson County News. See their ad specials on page 2A.

Enjoy the holiday festivities!
