Returning to State competition is the Floresville FFA Agricultural Advocacy team of (l-r) Savannah Engquist, Caroline Burkett, Mary Lewis, Emily Mann, and Emily Smith. This is the third year in a row that this team has qualified for State. The team won first place at the Area VII Leadership Development contests, held Nov. 15 at Blanco High School.

The Public Relations team of (l-r) Maddie Walbaum, Alyssa Aicher, Taylor Feehan, and Payton Meuth won the Alamo District Contest and the Area VII Contest to advance to State competition. This is a first for the Floresville FFA, to send two teams to the Texas FFA State Leadership Contests, according to Floresville ag teacher Mark Jarzombek.
