Running a stop sign was the cause of a vehicle rollover in Floresville this morning that resulted in no serious injuries.

At approximately 9 a.m. Feb. 1, a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling west on C Street toward downtown Floresville, when it was struck by a northbound Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck at Seventh Street, a block from First Lutheran Church, according to Floresville police Officer Jason Mitchell. The Suburban flipped over, and the truck came to rest in a residential front yard.

The driver of the truck, who reportedly had no serious injuries, admitted to running the stop sign, according to Mitchell. The driver of the Suburban had no apparent serious injuries, but was taken to Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville by Wilson County Volunteer EMS.
