Area law-enforcement agencies reported the following recent activity. This is based on information that is available in public records.

Floresville

•May 13, a 43-year-old woman from Pleasanton was arrested and cited for the theft of two cases of water and two cases of Gatorade from H-E-B.

•May 13, an officer responded to an ongoing argument between a 56-year-old male from Floresville and a 21-year-old male from San Antonio in a vehicle in the 500 block of 10th Street. After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, the officer found a glass pipe and a hypodermic needle, and charged both suspects with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication.

•May 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Third Street, after observing that the vehicle didn’t have a registration sticker or front license plate. The officer approached the vehicle from the passenger side and observed a .22 caliber pistol tucked into the seat near the driver’s right leg. The officer drew his weapon and called for backup. The 33-year-old Abilene man was arrested and charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of .16 ounces of marijuana.

•May 18, a 44-year-old female from Floresville was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence, after failing to maintain a single lane. The suspect had a blood-alcohol content level of .15 — almost twice the legal limit of .08.

•May 21, two 17-year-olds from Floresville — one male and one female — and two minors were arrested for trespassing and possession of marijuana. The four were found in the old hospital building on Hospital Boulevard The minors were cited and released to their parents.

Wilson County Sheriff’s Office

•May 23, deputies were dispatched to VP Racing Fuels on U.S. 87 in Sutherland Springs in response to a report of a suicidal female. The suspect was found walking around with a plastic bag on her head and talking to herself. The 65-year-old resident of Sutherland Springs was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication.

•May 26, deputies responded to a disturbance call on C.R. 307 in La Vernia, where a suspect had damaged property and fled the scene. The suspect later returned to the property, and was arrested after a brief chase. The 32-year-old male from La Vernia was charged with felony evading arrest and driving with an invalid license. He was also served a previous warrant for evading arrest.
