Update to time: Catch Thunderbirds in flight over Floresville May 13

Catch the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in flight May 13 over Floresville, between 1:30 and 1:40 p.m., as they honor those on the front lines in the battle against COVID-19.

*Update (5/13/2020, 10:10 am) – The flight will start at 2:20 p.m. with the fly over Floresville between 2:30-2:40 p.m.

(Posted 5/12/2020, 7:25 pm) The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron will fly over the San Antonio area Wednesday, May 13, in a salute to Texas healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential personnel on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus.

The flight, originally planned for May 12, was rescheduled due to forecasted inclement weather.

The flyover begins in the Helotes area Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and will loop over Floresville between 1:30 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. It will end at approximately 1:55 p.m. over New Braunfels. All times are approximate and subject to change.
