The Wilson County Grand Jury met May 12 and returned indictments in 31 cases.

The following 16 individuals are among the defendants scheduled for arraignment May 28:

Benjamin J. Marion, 47, of San Antonio was indicted on a charge of possession of between 1 and 4 grams a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 and a charge of theft valued at between $2,500 and $30,000, after he allegedly unlawfully appropriated a motor vehicle and was found in possession of methamphetamine in October 2024.

Amadeo D. Simon Rosales, 20, of San Antonio was indicted on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle and a charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2, after he allegedly fled a peace officer using a motor vehicle and was found in possession of Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol in April 2024.

Justin M. Sitterle, 36, of Floresville was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and a charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, after an alleged incident in December 2024.

Johnny R. Trevino, 44, and Jennifer D. Goodwin, 39, both of Floresville, were each indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of between 1 and 4 grams of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 and a charge of endangering a child, after allegedly placing a child under the age of 15 in imminent danger by possessing methamphetamine in the presence of the child, and not delivering the child to designated emergency infant care in October 2022.

Diane M. Culley, 60, of Nixon was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of between 4 and 200 grams of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 and a charge of possession of less than 1 gram of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, after an alleged incident in January 2024.

Carlos A. Cruz, 53, of Floresville was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, after he allegedly pushed his wife through a glass window in. April 2025.

Jeanna L. Poth, 53, of La Vernia was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly, or disabled individual with intent to cause bodily injury, after she allegedly scratched an individual age 65 years or older by scratching him.

Michael W. Capps, 44, of Floresville was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, after he allegedly entered the home of an individual without their consent and struck with his hand another individual inside the home in December 2024.

Edwardo Enriquez, 45, of Floresville was indicted on a charge of assault of a family member by impeding breath or circulation and a charge of injury to a child, elderly, or disabled individual with intent to cause bodily injury, after he allegedly applied pressure to the throat and neck of an individual and slapped and kicked a child 14 years of age or younger in December 2024.

Lane C. Jones, 28, of Karnes City was indicted on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, after he allegedly fled in a motor vehicle from a peace officer who was attempting to arrest him in November 2024.

Antonieta M. Leasman, 64, of Nixon was indicted on a charge of assault of a pregnant person, after she allegedly struck a female with her hand while knowing she was pregnant in March.

Alexander Rangel, 35, of San Antonio was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated three or more times, after he allegedly committed offenses in February 2025 in Wilson County, March 2019 in Comal County, and December 2016 in Bexar County.

Renne M. Romero, 39, of Floresville was indicted on a charge of assault of a family member with a previous conviction from October 2009, after he allegedly struck a woman with whom he had a dating relationship in February.

Samantha J. Stevenson, 30, of Lake Odessa, Mich., was indicted on a charge of evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, after she allegedly attempted to flee a peace officer in March.

Jessica A. White, 44, of San Antonio was indicted on a charge of assault on a public servant, after she allegedly struck an officer with a phone as an inmate of the Wilson County Jail in March.
